Be sure to stop by the AXI booth (513-514) to take a look at the new SMART FPS-FX series fuel polishing and transfer systems. These new fuel dialysis systems will be part of our new featured systems at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, and you will have the opportunity to see them in person, and ask our fuel experts about them. The new SMART FPS FX models replaced the older FPS-500 fuel polishing systems, and AXI Engineering added a few upgrades. The SMART FPS-FX includes a fully programmable controller for automated operation with four unique alarm features, corrosion-resistant back plate and drip tray, leak detection, AXI’s proprietary Watect 550 water-in-fuel alarm sensor module, and are available with Racor or Separ primary water separator filters. These systems are DC powered with either 12V or 24V versions and like the previous FPS-500 series fuel polisher have a flow rate of 150 GPH.
So be sure to stop by our booth (513-514) at the show and take a look at this awesome new system this week at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show.

AXI (Algae-X) continues to add dates to its calendar of conferences, trade shows and expos with BOMEX. AXI will be in Toronto, Canada September 14th through the 16th for Canada’s national conference and exhibition. We will post booth numbers and location here on the blog and on our website’s event’s calendar as they come. Algae-X (AXI) will be in Panama this weekend for the Exponautica 2010. Exponáutica 2010 (1st Panama Boat Show) will be held at Brisas de Amador Perico Island, Panama City, with over 3,000 square meters of exhibition on 29, 30 and 31 January 2010.
The show will have national and international visitors, giving the best products for life at sea yachts and boats of the most recognized global brands, companies engaged in the maintenance of marine equipment, outboard motors, generators for yachts, marine sports, professional fishing equipment, apparel and accessories for the enjoyment of life at sea.
So if you are in the area, stop by, say hello and learn how to have optimized fuel at all times.

Don’t forget that Algae-X (AXI) will be attending PowerGen 2009 in Las Vegas December 8th through December 10th. December 8th through December 10th AXI will be in Las Vegas at PowerGen International at booth C2912. AXI will be there to answer all your questions and demonstrate the fuel maintenance systems that are used in the power generation markets.

Algae-X (AXI) is attending the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Annual Conference in Atlantic City November 17th – 20th . Since we will be in the Garden State, we thought we would share these factoids with you:
- “I’m From New Jersey” is the only state song that is adaptable to any municipality with a two or three syllable name.
- New Jersey has the highest population density in the U.S. An average 1,030 people per sq. mi., which is 13 times the national average.
- New Jersey has the highest percent urban population in the U.S. with about 90% of the people living in an urban area.
- In November of 1914, the New York Tribune, cooperating with Mr. Bertram Chapman Mayo (founder of Beachwood) issued an “Extra” announcing: “Subscribe to the New York Tribune and secure a lot at Beautiful Beachwood. Act at once, secure your lot in this Summer Paradise now!” This was the greatest premium offered by a newspaper – nothing equal to it was ever attempted in the United States.
- New Jersey is the only state where all its counties are classified as metropolitan areas.

- Atlantic City has the longest boardwalk in the world.
- New Jersey has the largest petroleum containment area outside of the Middle East countries.

- The first baseball game was played in Hoboken.

- Parsippany has been named Tree City USA for 24 consecutive years.

- Software and software related companies account for nearly 2,700 companies in New Jersey.
