The SMART FPS LX-F is designed to handle large capacity fuel polishing & transfers at 10 gallons per minute or 600 gallons per hour. The SMART FPS-LX-F is equipped with Algae-X’s patented LG-X 3000 fuel conditioner, a Spear 2000/40 water separator that filters fuel at 10 to 30 micron, and a secondary fuel filter that refines the filtered fuel at 3 micron. The larger fuel polishing capacity is processed by a cast iron gear pump with Viton mechanical seals and a built in pressure relief valve.

The LX-F systems are equipped with a new automated control unit, the SFC-55 was designed with expanded PLC overload relay and NEMA certified. The SFC-55 includes automatic pump shut-down features and indicators when filter elements require service, high pump vacuum and pressure exists, as well as leak detection indicators when water is detected, and are equipped with a programmable timer for easy operation.

The Dubai International Boat Show

ALGAE-X (AXI) is partnering with Elcome International for The Dubai International Boat Show 9 – 13 March 2010, at stand ESS-C2-1. The exhibit will be the introductory venue for Elcome to display the full line of ALGAE-X systems for the Marine Industry as well as systems that will be marketed to the Power Generation, Heavy Equipment, Transportation and other markets using diesel powered equipment. FPS Fuel Polishing & Transfer Systems @ Ft. Lauderdale

The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show is just around the corner, and I thought of giving you a sneak peek at some of our top Fuel Management Systems that are being packed for display at the show. The FPS Fuel Polishing & Transfer Systems are going to be featured prominently at the show seeing as their compact design is suitable for keeping fuel onboard polished in cramped engine spaces.

The FPS-SX & MX Fuel Polsihing & Transfer System

The FPS SX Fuel Polishing & Transfer System is equipped with a three (or optionally four) stage water removal and particulate filtration. They reverse fuel deterioration, polymerization to submicron levels, decontaminating, cleaning and stabilizing your fuel. The FPS SX-R Fuel Polishing & Transfer System is equipped with the same three or four stage water removal and particulate filtration, but instead of a Separ water filter, the SX-R one is a Racor water filter & separator.

The FPS MX Fuel Polishing & Transfer System is equipped with three or four stage water removal and particulate filtration, and offers up to 250 GPH. This system reverses fuel deterioration, submicron level polymerization, decontaminates and cleans all the stored fuel onboard with a slightly larger footprint than the FPS-SX.

The FPS-DX-LD Fuel Polishing & Transfer System

The SMART FPS-DX-LD is the premier automated fuel polishing and transfer system in the DX line. Weighing only 20 Lbs, this system is uniquely suited to guaranty the reliability of engines onboard marine vessels, as well as, generators and pump stations that operate in remote and unmanned locations. They are very compact, easily fitting into tight engine room spaces and are ideal for installation inside generator enclosures while performing at 80 GPH.

Algae-X International at the United States Power Boat Show

US Power Boat Show 2009

Algae-X International Will be attending the United States Power Boat Show in Annapolis MD., October 15^th through October 18^th with Engines 1. Stop by Tent A14 to learn how LG-X Fuel Conditioners stabilize fuel and reverse the agglomeration process. Continuous process affects combustion and engine performance, which causes loss of torque, excessive fuel consumption (Low MPG), smoking engines and even damage the injection system. The new SMART FPS-DX-LD will also be on display.
